Carolyn Sweeney, owner of Creations Hair Salon in Chichester and Director of Kin Connect, a consultancy dedicated to advancing salon businesses through strategic team development, marketing expertise, and financial planning. Her extensive experience includes roles as a salon manager, business coach, and educator, which have equipped her with the skills to help salon owners thrive.
Chris Amos - Chapters Hair
Chris Amos is the founder of Chapters Hair Company, one of the most successful single salons in the country. Established in 1987 and located in Bromsgrove, the salon employs 32 talented professionals, including 18 skilled stylists. Under their leadership, the salon achieves a net turnover of £1Million, with an average weekly retail income of £3,000. Recently, the team has taken over the salon through an Employee Ownership Trust, ensuring it’s continued success and legacy.
Mark Woolley - Electric Space
Creative Entrepreneur & Visionary:
Mark Woolley is a renowned Hairstylist and Entrepreneur based in London, England
Mark’s passion for Art, Music & Fashion made his journey into a creative industry inevitable.
Mark’s session & editorial work regularly appears in leading publications across the globe, and he maintains a loyal clientele of noted musicians, actors and sports personalities including Siena Miller, Paloma Faith, Luke Evans & Paolo Nutini from his Electric space in Rathbone place, central London.
Dedication to elevating British creativity, and the global perception of Hairdressing, has been his fuel for innovation, collaborating and developing talent.

Mark possesses a unique ability to mix celebrated creativity within his craft, with proven success in business.
Most famously, Mark is the founder and International Creative director of leading British hair brand Electric.
Electric is one of the beauty industry’s most celebrated hair brands, encompassing award winning salons, an ethical products line, global education, a photographic and film studio, a shared workspace for leading creatives in central London, and its farm & headquarters in the Sussex countryside.

The Electric brand continues to grow, absorbing Mark’s down-to-earth and nature, and accessible style, as well as reflecting his energy, drive and vision.
Mark bases himself between London and Falmer court, his home in the Sussex countryside, where he has devoted himself to developing and manufacturing ethically sourced, professional hairdressing products, that are regularly used by some of the worlds most influential hair stylists.

Mark is also an esteemed visual artist in his own right, with a collection of contemporary art produced over a number of years, that is fast becoming appreciated on the British art scene.
Jo Haywood - The Signing Hairdresser
Jo Haywood is a hairdresser working full time behind the chair who has built a career on creativity, connection, and making people feel their best. With a passion for all aspects of hairdressing, she has developed a loyal client base who value both her technical skill and her warm, personal approach.
A big part of her work is about inclusivity. By using British Sign Language (BSL) in the salon she has created a space where Deaf clients can enjoy the same ease, comfort, and quality of service as anyone else. This commitment to accessibility has become a defining part of her identity as a stylist.
Beyond the chair, Jo aims to help spread Deaf awareness and inspire change within the industry encouraging hair and beauty professionals everywhere to embrace inclusivity and accessibility as part of their craft.
Sarah Ayton OBE OLY - Double Olympic Gold Medallist
Sarah Ayton OBE is a double Olympic Gold Medallist, World Champion sailor, and internationally recognised keynote speaker who knows what it takes to deliver results at the highest level under pressure. Honoured as Rolex World Sailor of the Year and awarded an OBE for her services to sailing, Sarah is celebrated not only for her success on the water but also for her ability to translate those experiences into powerful lessons for business and leadership.

Jade Hazell-Slade is a stylist and salon owner with over 20 years of hands-on industry experience. Known for her warm, grounded approach, Jade blends honest advice, beautiful results, and a touch of luxury into everything she does. Her philosophy is simple: create gorgeous hair, offer genuine guidance, and always lead with kindness.
Beyond the chair, Jade is passionate about helping stylists grow their confidence and client base. She shares real-life, practical advice on building a thriving clientele through social media, offering hints, tips, and time-saving tricks that make the journey easier and far less overwhelming.
